You get to see light split through my marble bust
I see your face and it doesn't feel so rough
Since when do I sweat so fucking much
Even in my sleep
(Itchy and greasy and Itchy and greasy)
This shampoo can't clean my head
(Itchy and greasy and Itchy and greasy)
The tougher skin that I once had
(Itchy and greasy and itchy and greasy)
Even you, even you
Can't get me out of my bed
At least my thoughts are all in order
At least my thoughts are all in order
(Itchy and greasy and Itchy and greasy)
This shampoo can't clean my head
(Itchy and greasy and Itchy and greasy)
The tougher skin that I once had
(Itchy and greasy and itchy and greasy)
Even you, even you
Can't get me out of my bed
It's 4pm I'm sleepin in
It's 4pm I'm sleepin in
It's 4pm I'm sleepin in

I haven't heard the album yet (but I ordered it. :)). I heard Christy and Monica Laplante, a while back on The Current, talking about the album. Then I heard " Uranium Baby", which I love; hearkens back to those great punk sounds from the 80s. It sounds like it was recorded live in the studio, which I'll take any day, over a lot of the bland production that passes today. Speaking of Monica Laplante, I love what I heard of her songs as well. Time I got one of her albums. Tim 😀 Timothy Natysin
You know, it wasn't my favorite for a while, but for some reason my brain decided to listen to it on loop a few weeks ago and now I can't stop thinking about it.
I love the synths, the tone, the lyricism, even the music videos which I feel I should mention!!!
(also, should've been me reminds me a bit of abba which is an automatic bonus in my book) praisedrays
Long-running underground rocker Brian Vanderwerf is the heart and soul of these gritty songs that capture the scruffy spirit of the ’70s. Bandcamp New & Notable May 7, 2022

The final album from late Minneapolis musician Ed Ackerson is bursting with the kind of bright, memorable power-pop for which he was known. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 9, 2020
